10. “Grief for the Scorched”, by @_TrollCatcher_
The digital collage Grief for the Scorched by @_TrollCatcher_ presents a woman rooted to the ground as if borne from it; however, instead of reaching her proud tall branches skywards she hunkers down – not injured but as if to protect herself. Behind her, the ground smoulders, its smoke blocking out a crescent moon, all in a restrained moody palette of greys and browns. From the artist’s description:
“Deeply rooted in soil, intertwined with mournful nature, burned leaves and fallen beings in faded grass, the revengeful spirit knew that anger is not a curse of a soul, but a sacred right of defense.
Creatures, humans, plants - we are all parts of our common home, our land. This work reflects my personal connection with every element of Nature, being a creature of her in the darkest of times. I mourn with her, I fight on her side.”

9. “Open Sea”, by @johnandreas
Photographed in Tromsø, Norway in 2019, Open Sea by @johnandreas is a moody landscape with dark clouds fomenting over a large body of water. The band of dawn white light hovering like a fluorescent tube over the distant horizon illuminates the ocean and lends a unique perspective – with calming effect - to the composition.

8. “Crash & Burn”, by @RegRurutu
The painting Crash & Burn by @RegRurutu – part of a daily digital painting series – is evocative of Francis Bacon, whose idiosyncratic portraits often depicted subjects whose faces had been obliterated. I’m particularly enamoured with the handling of the forehead, the rich brushwork and jolt of colour – especially that rich strip of vermilion at the hairline and the beard dissolving into the subject’s neck.

7. “Remembering Shiba”, by @ioJoART
Remembering Shiba by @ioJoART captures you with its bright red border, pulling you beyond the coloured bands (reminiscent of a Mark Rothko composition) to a more diminutive and personal artwork. The perfect vertical stripe - like a strand of yarn dropped from above - balances the composition unbeknownst to its subject, the artist’s childhood cat caught in mid-bath.

6. “With Freedom in heart”, by @I_vvanna
You can’t look away from With Freedom in heart by @I_vvanna. The insistence of the subject’s gaze - unwavering and intense – pulls you forward to hear her words. Wonderful details such as the golden glow in her eye and the Ukrainian embroidery woven through her hair soften the intensity of the fireballs streaming by. She has an important message for us,
“It turns out that everything you need in life can be packed in a backpack. Even in your pocket, even in the palm of your hand. You take the hand of someone you love and run. It turns out that all you need is life itself. Life. The greatest value. The art was created on the 13 day of war. 8.03.2022. International women day.”

5. “Kingdom”, by @kaihillarts
The abstract artwork Kingdom by @kaihillarts showcases a palette of hazy bright lights and sparkling energy fields. The glowing iris at the center of the composition belts you in for a journey through the subject’s pupil to organic patterns coloured from stars – like a trip into the mind’s eye. The accompanying poem is fitting,
“This cradle of light, I tied to the sky, This furnace of fractals, it burns my eye, This storm, it beats upon the bolted door, This kingdom; it holds the mountain, This kingdom; it holds the shore ~ VC”

4. “Last tree standing”, by @nitin_donde
The analog photograph Last tree standing by @nitin_donde depicts a Himalayan village with a massive peak towering in the distance. The eye is directed up through the stepped landscape to a single tree, tall and windswept in the upper left corner. An exaggerated depth of field and the lush green grass lend a stereoscopic, fairy tale view to the scene. From the artist’s description,
“Last tree standing, Many a storm, Have come and gone.
This is a 40+ year photographic experience touching the Himalayan glaciers, following mountain streams, rivers, lakes, the sea and the desert... across countries and continents.
The beauty and purity of water, the meditative serenity are the inspiration. The inner peace of watching water from dusk to dawn, the tranquillity reaches out through these compositions. The images are simultaneously real and abstract, a moment in time, unique and never to appear again.”

3. “Bible quote #40”, by @quetzalgelo
Bible quote #40 by @quetzalgelo is a combination of abstract art, coding, and as the title explains, a Bible quote encrypted in working base 64 code. No matter how you feel about the Bible, the concept is uniquely and expertly handled and its artwork as compelling as if Motherwell himself traded in his paints and canvas for a digital tablet.
«The Lord will fight for you. All you have to do is keep still. — Exodus 14:14» This art is encrypted with a quote from the Bible in base64 encoding.
About collection: Combination of abstract art, coding, and Bible quotes. Every token has got fully working code. The quotes are encrypted in the base64. If you copy and save the code in HTML and open it, you'll get access to a page with the encrypted code

2. “Time Flies”, by @WillConlon
Hand-drawn frame by frame, Time Flies by @WillConlon needs to be viewed at its length for full effect. Delightful and clever, a bird as large as an origin myth spreads its wings to change the world’s sky from day to night and back again. In the artist’s words,
“Days fly by. As quickly as the day begins...it ends. Flying away with the speed of an eagle.”

1. “Disrobe”, by @WomanNFT
Disrobe by @WomanNFT showcases a curving female form in contrast to its graphic horizontal bands of colour, seemingly frustrating the male gaze. Undulating linework adds energy to what might otherwise be a static composition, pulling your eye in and through – much like the subject’s shirt is lifted over and up. Making this even more fun is that it is comprised of one image that updates twice a day to reflect the time.
