10. “Kaiyo”, by @SvinuGa
From the collection Stunning Warriors, Kaiyo by @SvinuGa may be the loveliest of them all. The monochromatic red palette with its ghoulish drips and gobs informs the viewer that this is no woman to be trifled with, but her expression! Serious but reflective, poised and waiting to strike. She doesn’t want to kill you, but if she has to, she will not hesitate.

9. “Flow#2”, by @elfilter_a
The video Flow #2 by @elfilter_a drops an experimental feedback effect into the head and shoulders of a human figure. Bright jewel tones glitch into looping scales and feathers against a black backdrop to gorgeous effect. Click through to the video to enjoy this compelling creature.

8. “Trapped”, by @Damian_Kidd
Gleaming with ultraviolet light, Trapped by @Damian_Kidd portrays mental disorders as a seated figure, caught in a transparent box just large enough to contain them. Three holes, providing just enough air, are the only relief in this void landscape as they push against the ceiling to no avail. From the artists’s description:
“You are in a box and you can not escape. You can see the outside world and they can see you.
Mental health is something we need to be mindful of as we battle daily. If you feel trapped, be brave and speak about it.
Remember you shine brightly even in the dark.
You may seem trapped but you are not.”

7. “Lighthouse #50”, by @Chrizzlenft
Lighthouse #50 by @Chrizzlenft is part of a series based on The Lighthouse of Devon in which the artist experiments with different variations on a theme. Playful geometric forms sway up the steps to the cupola and beacon in this charming landscape reminiscent of chalk or fuzzy yarn art. From the artist’s description:
“Or the lighthouse know as chalky
This piece was created whilst listening to mariachi music and sipping beer There was no design in mind other than fun and brightness This piece is here to brighten up your life and collection.”

6. “AI Face #6”, by @thomaaas_crypto
Neural networks and candy nib sprinkles pepper AI Face #6 by @thomaaas_crypto. As if moving in and out of focus, the figure is at once nebulous and starkly centred. The symmetrical structure and simple composition belie the complex technology and inputs that created this unique work.

5. “Ribbit Ribbit the Frog, Yummy”, by @FflameTheFish
A dragonfly visits a frog in Ribbit Ribbit the Frog, Yummy by @FflameTheFish – but will they become friends or will it become dinner? The softly imbued grey green palette lends a languid but fairytale air to this scene that we peek at through the underbrush. But given the frog’s expression, I’d zip right on past, dear dragonfly!

4. “In a daze”, by @pax_art
In a daze by @pax_art utilizes AI to create a digital abstract painting. Brightly coloured fields swarm through and around the composition creating dramatic illusions: dragons, smoke, a leaping cat – or is it a Jaguar hood ornament? The artist leaves us room to play in our imaginations. In their words:
“What wonders lie in a daze. As the different swishes and swatches dance around, there is that feeling of fulfillment; of empathy and amazement as the world fills up with color. Then, you step out of the daze.”

3. “Ⅰ : Magenta auricle”, by @lcrypt0saurusl
From their collection Dreams in oil, I: Magenta auricle by @lcrypt0saurusl spreads like a creeping fungus from the center outward, dissolving or digging deeper into the earth. The artist makes use of a unique circular composition and magenta palette to portray the onslaught of media overstimulation. In their words:
“In this dark time we hear the information: fakes, news, propaganda, screams, shots and statements. Our ears are bleeding, we have no brain or body screen to filter or stop a tsunami of information. Words and sounds transform to a magenta tumor devouring humans mind.”

2. “The Nightmare - VI”, by @_dark_ghoul
The Nightmare - VI by @_dark_ghoul uses the artist’s signature yellow to create a chilling atmosphere in this dreamlike scene. Veering out of the fog like an artifact straight from Andres Serrano’s piss jar, a car travels as if floating through swamp water. Where is this decaying vehicle travelling from – or to?

1. “Self-Portrait”, by @Foleee1
The digital painting Self-Portrait by @Foleee1 shows just what can be accomplished with digital painting in the hands of an experienced artist. Channeling the old masters, the artist sets the main light source to one side of his subject, capturing himself in a moment of contemplation – perhaps of the canvas he has been working on outside the frame. Expressive strokes push and pull against the deep intensity of his concentration, necessary to mastering his craft. Like the best portraits, it is both ambiguous and telling.
